The Frerking family is probably the largest group of people in Concordia that traces its roots back to the original settlers of the area. Loberta Runge's Frerking Family History and Gary Frerking's extension of it are excellent resources for any Frerkings interested in checking their ancestors.

However, there is always more that can be learned. If you have any interesting information or are looking for more data about the family, this is the forum to post the data or requests.

Because nine of Johann Diedrich and Dorothee's children settled here, it may be necessary to split this forum into separate forums for each tribe.
